It was a very good, exciting, THRILL of a week for us Garden Girls.  Homeworthy, the uber popular youtube channel, featured all three of our homes and gardens. Homeworthy believes that “every home has a story” and each episode involves an in-depth tour of the rooms and objects that make homes special.

When Homeworthy reached out to us, we were excited but nervous beyond belief.  We had a few convos that went something like this:  Who would watch this, aside from our mothers?  What if we jumble our words?  What if no one wants to watch our episodes?  What if, what if, what if? I mean, Bunny Williams… THE Bunny Williams… has a Homeworthy episode, among many other influential designers and tastemakers across the country. Were we ready for this?

Owning a small business and putting yourself out there is hard. Opening up your home to criticism is even harder. But as moms (the eternal cheerleaders), we had to remind ourselves that we could do this. We can punch hard things in the face. We came to these conclusions:

*Maybe our mothers will be the only viewers. That’s cool.

*Jumbling / mumbling / tripping over our words happens on the daily. No biggee.

*Why not us?

Let’s go back to that last point.  WHY NOT US?  We say that because at one point, we were newbie gardeners, just like you.  We all have self doubt at one time or another because we’re afraid to fail.  But challenging ourselves to push beyond what’s comfortable is actually quite liberating.

We want you to stick with gardening.  Why not you?  And why not us?  We’re in this together!  We hope that you enjoy the episodes.  Our mamas sure did (along with 95,000 other viewers!!).  Oh and once you start watching, you’ll want to deep dive many more episodes.
